Microfund Blog counts and checks against public data and our own records. The topics it covers change with our business.
Topics we cover now
As of October 10, 2026, there are two topics: crypto and cybersecurity.
- Crypto: token profiles, trading figures, and how to use wallets and transfers
- Cybersecurity: counts of attacks on our own servers, taken from our records, and explainers, based on public documents, of how security and identity-check mechanisms work (started in October 2026, in the Japanese edition only)
Topics may be added or dropped as our business changes. When that happens, we revise this page and note the date of the revision below.
If the topics change, articles are still written under the same rules, set out below under “How articles are made” and “What we do not publish”.
Cybersecurity articles leave some things out: information that points to the party behind an attack, and the details of how our defenses are built.
Cybersecurity articles report what happened and explain mechanisms as described in public documents. They are not a promise that your own site or server is safe, and they are not advice on your particular setup.
Where a cybersecurity article touches on a government scheme or on law, it is our summary of the original texts we read. It is not legal advice. Please check procedures against the guidance of the authority in charge.
Who it is for
We write for readers who want to decide on numbers that can be verified rather than on mood or rumor.
Crypto articles are for individuals who hold and move crypto themselves. Cybersecurity articles are for people who run their own sites or servers.
Who it is not for
It is not a fit if you are looking for price forecasts or for recommendations to buy or sell. This blog is written under a rule not to publish either.
How articles are made
Figures are taken from publicly available data on the day of writing: public APIs, the issuer’s public documents and official statistics.
The name of the source and the date of retrieval are stated in the article. For figures that move, such as prices, the time is stated as well.
Some articles count our own records, such as service records and server records. We state the kind of record and the time or period we read.
In those articles, unfavorable results are published as counted. Some figures are not published, such as anything that could identify a person or the size of our accounts.
Drafting, and checking figures against their sources, are done by AI agents. The company decides whether to publish, and is responsible for what is published.
There is no step in which a person reads the full text before publication. If you notice an error, please tell us through the contact form below.
We change an article’s updated date only when figures are retrieved again or the content is revised.
The rule to state sources and dates was introduced in September 2026. Articles written before that remain on the site, and some of them lack sources or dates for their figures.
What we do not publish
- Price forecasts or target prices
- Recommendations of trading venues (where to buy or sell)
- Made-up experiences, made-up track records, or figures without a source
- Calculations of what you owe to the state (that is a matter for a qualified professional)
Some articles do include calculations made under stated assumptions. The assumptions are written beside the figure. These are calculation results, not forecasts of a future price.
Some older articles may still contain wording that does not fit these rules. When we find it, we correct it and note the correction and its date in that article.
Articles on this blog are for information. They are not recommendations to make any particular trade.
Articles on other topics
The English edition also has articles on economic topics such as prices and interest rates.
The Japanese edition has further articles outside the current topics, on probability, phone and bank-transfer fraud, prediction markets, and building apps with AI. They are not translated.
We have kept them. New articles will mainly follow the current topics.
